FARGO, ND - Specialty Fabricating
has been in business since 1991 and quickly became known for its
amazing results at all tracks in the U.S. and Canada.
The company’s mission has always been: “To improve the life and
racing success of our customers by offering an extremely
competitive and quality product, as well as top-rated customer
service.”
J-Car owner Mitch Johnson said he vows to continue to be the
chassis of choice for many of the area’s finest drivers, much
like it has been for the past 19 years.
Among the many accomplishments in 2010 by J-Car drivers, track
champions were Brian Haben, Jim Morlock, Shane Sabraski, Ryan
Studanski, Matt Suckow, Jesse Glenz, Mike Anderson, Scott
Hansen, Mark Wermling, Ryan Schroeder, WISSOTA 100 Midwest Mod
feature winner Matt Leer, Silver 1000 Modified feature winner
Jody Bellefeuille, AMSOIL Race of Champions Midwest Mod winner
Shane Sabraski and WISSOTA national Rookie of the year Johnny
Broking.
The team behind J-Cars success includes chief welder Mike Cich,
sheet metal aces Nick Klien and Keith Hansen and advisor Bob
Sagen.
With the new rule changes in the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, we
will be able to assist you in the chassis changes you will need
for your J-Car. We will also build a new 3-link car.
In addition, we are also offering our newest Modified called the
M-1. We raced this car last year with drivers Mike Greseth, Mike
Anderson, Dustin Wahl, Bob Sagen and Mitch Johnson. We’re taking
our new version of the M-1 to USA Raceway in Arizona in January.
With all the feedback from the drivers, we’re working to improve
on our J-Car.
With nearly 20 years of domination in its wake, there isn’t
another Modified out there that has stood the test of time as
long as the J-Car.
The staff at Specialty Fabricating takes great pride in
delivering a top quality product that is competitive on the
track and is constructed from the finest materials with driver
safety in mind. They have the knowledge and expertise to put a
race team in the winner’s circle.
Cich has been a member of the staff full-time for the past 15
years.
“Mike Cich has built more than 500 cars and repaired as many
too,” Johnson said.
Johnson and his staff are excited about the continued growth of
Modified racing and the talent spread throughout the northern
portion of the country. Whether a seasoned veteran or a rookie,
the guys at J-Car will do what they can to get any driver headed
in the right direction.
“We offer them choices that suit their driving styles, as well
as the best products and advice to help ensure their track
experience is a positive one,” Johnson said. “Our success is
based on our customers’ success, and we realize in order to keep
the best in our cars, we need to stay current in technology,
continue to be an innovator, and offer great customer
service…all three of these components are a requirement to
succeed.”
All work on a new chassis is done in-house, so the J-Car team
has more control and can oversee the development and work from
concept to finish. Johnson and his team also repair and upgrade
existing cars to make them even more competitive, and offer
daily shipping of racing parts and products.
“Our customers deserve and have come to expect only the best,
and they can be assured we will continue to deliver a
first-rate, extremely competitive car that is fairly priced,
offering local service and support,” Johnson said.
